Financial Analyst | Energy Infrastructure
Midland or Houston, TX | Full-Time
A fast-growing energy infrastructure company operating across the Permian Basin is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its Finance team. This is a highly analytical, hands-on role with direct exposure to senior finance and commercial leadership. The position will serve as a key resource for financial modeling, deal underwriting, project economics, forecasting, and strategic analysis. This position will require travel to Midland multiple times per month.
Job Duties
- Build and maintain project-level financial models for deal underwriting
- Adjust models as deal terms and commercial structures evolve
- Partner with Engineering and Operations on capital project economics and commercial structuring
- Support forecasting, scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis
- Analyze business performance and historical project economics
- Assist with budgeting, board presentations and monthly financial reviews
- Support debt/equity initiatives, sources & uses and investor materials
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis to senior leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance or a similar analytical role
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Strong PowerPoint proficiency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate financial analysis to senior leadership
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- QuickBooks or similar accounting software exposure is a plus
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
