Title: Credit Analyst

Location: Milwaukee, WI (Hybrid - Monday and Friday remote after training)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation: $60,000-$70,000

About the Role

A well-established, growing manufacturing and distribution organization is seeking a Credit Analyst to support its expanding operations. This role plays a key part in evaluating customer credit risk, managing credit limits, and supporting healthy cash flow as the company continues to grow through new locations and acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate customer credit applications, financial statements, and credit histories
• Assess credit risk and establish appropriate credit limits and terms
• Approve or release credit holds on customer orders in accordance with company policies
• Monitor customer accounts and identify potential credit risks
• Manage and follow up on past-due accounts and collections activity
• Maintain accurate customer credit files and documentation
• Prepare reports related to credit exposure, aging, and risk for management
• Communicate with customers regarding credit terms, limits, and account status
• Collaborate with internal teams to support credit policies and risk mitigation efforts

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in B2B credit analysis
• Experience collecting past-due receivables (credit-focused role; not collections-heavy)
• Strong understanding of credit risk assessment and financial analysis
• Manufacturing or distribution industry experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP systems (Oracle experience a plus)
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
