Summary
Connect Search is hiring a Civil AutoCAD Technician in Milwaukee. This position offers a hybrid work from home schedule of days per week.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed technical drawings and plans based on project specifications and requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to understand project goals and objectives and ensure seamless integration of design elements into overall project plans.
- Create 2D and 3D models for land development infrastructure such as site layout, grading, roadways, and utilities.
- Review and modify drawings to correct errors and ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
- Maintain organized files and documentation and support in the development of AutoCAD blocks and templates for use in drawings.
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree related to C3D drawing production, engineering or similar. Other drafting qualifications/certifications will be considered
- 5 years of AutoCAD software design and drafting experience
- A strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D
- Strong understanding of design concepts including earthwork, surface, site grading, pipe network, ArcGIS, etc
- Ability to read and translate architectural floorplans and technical drawings
- Basic understanding of building design and mechanical processes
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
