What’s the opportunity?

• Synthesis of small molecules using state-of-the-art organic and transitional metal chemistry.
• Use NMR and LC-MS-based methods to monitor synthesis purity and bi-products.
• Order reagents, optimize reaction conditions, propose and test new synthesis routes.
• Accurately record, analyze, and present data to team members and company
• Act as a dynamic and collaborative teammate with other members of our interdisciplinary research group.

What you’ll need to be successful:

1. BS or MS in chemistry or related field is required, with 1-3 years of academic or industry experience related to synthetic organic chemistry, synthetic methodology development, or process chemistry.
2. Laboratory experience, including proficiency with fundamental chemistry lab methods, is required.
3. Strong organic chemistry knowledge and experience LC-MS-based instrumentation.
4. Creativity, resourcefulness, and an ability to adhere to deadlines and commitments.
5. An interest and desire to learn more about the drug discovery and development process.
6. Excellent written and oral communication skills, and a personality of risk-taking, positivity, leadership, adaptability, adventurousness, and excitement to build a pioneering company and work in a dynamic, goal- and performance-oriented team environment.
7. Demonstrated ability to utilize AI tools for day-to-day work; baseline proficiency is expected, and advanced or innovative use of AI is a strong plus
8. Able to work on-site and attend in-person meetings
