Technical Qualifications:
Duties:
- Lead formulation and development of new epoxy adhesive and coasting technologies
- Drive projects from concept through commercialization
- Spend significant time in the laboratory formulating and developing new technologies
- Meet directly with customers to understand application needs
- Drive customer-backed innovation initiatives
- Design experiments and interpret technical data
- Scale formulations from laboratory to manufacturing
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales and Technical Service
- Support patent development and intellectual property initiatives
- Support existing products through raw material qualification and validation
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality requirements

Technical Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Materials Science, or related discipline
- Proven epoxy adhesive and/or epoxy coating formulation experience
- Product commercialization experience required
- Experience taking products from concept through commercialization
- Hands-on formulation experience
- Scale-up and manufacturing transfer experience
- Knowledge of structure-property relationships
- Experience with DSC, DMA, FTIR, Rheology, and GC-MS preferred
- Patent/IP Experience is a plus
- Ability to travel 10-15%
