Position Summary
The Manufacturing Supervisor plays a vital role in leading daily operations within a hands-on, high-tech machine build environment. You will oversee a team of skilled machine builders, prototype technicians, and assembly personnel responsible for delivering world-class precision machinery.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a blend of leadership and technical work , thrives in a fast-paced production setting, and takes pride in seeing complex systems come to life from blueprint to finished machine.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate daily activities of machine builders, assemblers, and technicians
Assign work, manage priorities, and ensure on-time project execution
Provide hands-on leadership and mentorship while actively supporting the team on the floor
Collaborate with engineering, project management, and quality teams to resolve build challenges
Interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and detailed work instructions
Oversee assembly accuracy, alignment, and final machine performance
Conduct daily team huddles to communicate goals, safety, and production targets
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient shop environment compliant with OSHA standards
Participate in continuous improvement and lean initiatives
Support troubleshooting, quality inspections, and final system testing
Qualifications
Required
5 years in manufacturing, machine building, CNC machining, or production assembly
3 years of supervisory or team lead experience
Strong mechanical aptitude and blueprint interpretation skills
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership abilities
Hands-on approach with a willingness to work alongside the team
Preferred
Background in precision machinery, automation, or automotive/EV systems
Experience with lean manufacturing, Kaizen, or continuous improvement
Technical training or certification in mechanical/industrial fields
