Overview

We are a locally owned and operated ABA company with a clinic in Gadsden and Birmingham. Our sole focus is to create an environment where you, the RBTs, and our clients want to come.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in applied behavior analysis and demonstrate a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with behavioral health challenges. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective treatment plans, conducting assessments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive client assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy interventions tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
  • Collect and analyze data on patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to provide support and education regarding behavioral health strategies.
  • Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
  • Utilize medical terminology effectively in documentation and communication with healthcare providers.
  • Stay informed about advancements in special education and behavioral health practices to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) is required.
  • Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to behavioral health.
  • Experience in special education or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Proficiency in patient assessment methodologies and data collection techniques.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient confidentiality and record management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
  • A passion for improving the quality of life for individuals through effective behavioral interventions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
