The Application Developer for Business Applications is responsible for the administration, support, and continuous improvement of the organization’s business application ecosystem, with a focus on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Microsoft Power Platform, and integrated ISV solutions.
This role is hands-on and will work closely with business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and external software vendors (ISVs) to ensure applications are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business needs.

The Application Developer for Business Applications is responsible for the administration, support, and continuous improvement of the organization’s business application ecosystem, with a focus on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Microsoft Power Platform, and integrated ISV solutions.
This role is hands-on and will work closely with business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and external software vendors (ISVs) to ensure applications are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
Responsibilities
Application Support & Enhancement
- Provide day-to-day support for Dynamics 365 FnO, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse), and related systems
- Design and implement low-code solutions to improve business processes
- Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate resolution across internal teams and vendors
- Serve as the primary technical contact for ISV partners and third-party application providers
- Support integrations between Dynamics 365 and external systems
- Coordinate issue resolution, updates, and enhancements with vendors
- Manage environments, deployments, and release processes across business applications
- Ensure adherence to established governance, security, and integration standards
- Assist in maintaining data integrity and system performance
- Participate in application-related projects (ERP enhancements, integrations, reporting initiatives)
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Identify opportunities to improve processes using Power Platform and Microsoft technologies
- Work closely with business stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and Sales
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
- Support user training and adoption of new solutions
- 3–6 years of experience in business applications, ERP, or Microsoft platform roles
- Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 (FnO preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
- Experience supporting or integrating third-party (ISV) applications
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Azure integrations, APIs, or data tools (Fabric, Data Factory) preferred
- Familiarity with ALM and CI/CD (Azure DevOps) preferred
- Microsoft certifications (PL-100, PL-200, or similar) preferred
