Warehouse Process Owner

As a CONMED Warehouse Process Owner you will be responsible for owning and executing the purchased finished goods receiving process, monitoring processes and logistics, updating procedures and providing team training, monitoring, and clearing aging reports through partnership with other internal and external departments, identifying, and correcting errors, clearing inventory inaccuracies while investigating root causes for future improvements and the subject matter expert for audit-related activities. This cross-functional role requires coordination with buyers, logistics and quality teams to ensure that products meet quality standards and align with broader organizational goals for growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Duties

• Review and approve documentation associated with the receiving process, interfacing with Quality, Purchasing, and Warehouse personnel as needed.
• Meet company standards and ensure the receiving process is compliant with regulatory requirements, including labeling and documentation verification.
• Develop process parameters/programs, procedures, and training checklist updates.
• Lead receiving process of purchased finished goods, inspecting and reconciling shipments against purchase orders
• Follow transportation guidelines and track inbound shipments to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
• Support management in the development and running of efficient processes.
• Support daily production requirements as needed, including the processes to meet Warehouse goals.
• Implement effective controls to maintain required inventory accuracy.
• Recommend, write, and/or perform preventative maintenance procedures for tools, equipment, and machines as required.
• Perform procurement tasks for tooling or supplies used in warehousing processes
• Assists in training others in the proper techniques and procedures necessary to identify defect-free parts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Perform other duties assigned by management
  
  

Requirements

• 4 years in a warehouse/distribution environment with experience working within WMS systems, with a strong focus on receiving operations and quality
  
  

Preferred Requirements

• Forklift certified
• Experience with receiving Purchase Finished Goods.
• High attention to detail, understanding, and mitigating risk.
• Process improvement mindset.
• Previous experience in a leadership role strongly preferred.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing to perform routine calculations.
• Understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and RF Scanners.
