ConMed Corporation is seeking a talented and experienced Sales Leader to join the Advanced Surgical Sales Enablement team as Director of Sales Training. This is a leadership position with direct reports across sales training functions. The person selected will be leading sales training and development initiatives for our fast-moving sales organization. Through your own efforts and through your team, you will design, create, and deliver comprehensive training for new and tenured sales representatives across multiple platforms.
You will also lead our Events programs, including global sales meeting and trade shows. This is a field-based, remote position that is responsible for conducting virtual training and in-person training in our Denver office and in the field coaching the sales team.

What You’ll Do
- Training Program Development – using core adult learning principles you and your team will design, create, and deliver training programs for:
- High spot learning management system
- Continuing Education Sales and Product training
- Upskilling across all sales functions
- Virtual classroom
- In-person classroom
- Global, National and Regional meetings
- Content Development – you and your team will build content for training programs, facilitator guides and learning modules. Three key areas – technical product knowledge, clinical and procedural knowledge, and sales skills.

- Expertise – you and your team will develop and maintain expert level knowledge in assigned product/marketing portfolios and programs

- Coaching – you and your team will observe sales representative training performance, diagnose skill level, and prioritizing learning gaps in a variety of settings. Coach on specific performance, providing actionable and transparent feedback. Provide feedback to sales leaders with next steps for moving into sales territory.

Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years of prior people management experience
- 7 years medical device sales experience and documented success required.
- Ability to travel is required. Must be willing and able to travel up to 50%
- Bachelor's Degree
- ConMed Advanced Surgical medical device experience strongly preferred
- Previous Sales training (including as a field sales trainer) and / or marketing experience strongly preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to comply with hospital mandated vendor credentialing requirements including immunizations and vaccinations.
- Strong organizational and time management ability
- Demonstrated ability to work within a cross-functional team environment
- High level of energy, self-motivated and self-directed
- Working knowledge of High spot or other Learning Management Systems preferred

Salary : $169,000 - $215,000
