Overview
We are seeking a Furniture Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the repair, refurbishment, and reconditioning of various office furniture pieces, ensuring they meet quality standards, customer specifications and diversion from landfill.
Responsibilities
- Give tired, worn, or well-loved office furniture a fresh new life!
- Clean, repair, touch up, refinish, and restore desks, chairs, tables, workstations, filing cabinets, and other office furniture.
- Get creative with basic repairs, sanding, painting, polishing, and replacing worn or damaged parts.
- Assemble and disassemble furniture and help get pieces ready for their next office adventure.
- Inspect each piece and use your best judgment to determine what needs a little TLC, a full makeover, or retirement.
- Keep tools, supplies, and the workspace clean, organized, and ready for the next project.
- Take pride in the finished product and make sure every piece is clean, functional, safe, and looking its best.
- Work safely, efficiently, and with a “let’s make it look great again” attitude.
