Marketing Associate Intern

Conifer Life Sciences Group, LLC. was established to ideate, develop, and launch new ventures in the life science tools industry. A Conifer portfolio company, currently in stealth mode, has an opening for a Research Associate.
Position:
The Marketing Associate Intern supports the execution of marketing initiatives by assisting with digital marketing campaigns (including paid search and paid social), website and e-commerce management, market research, data analytics, and content creation. This position offers hands-on experience in marketing operations, modern AI-driven lead generation, brand management, and business intelligence while working closely with the sales and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist with the development, execution, and monitoring of Google Ads (Search, Performance Max), LinkedIn marketing campaigns, and other lead generation activities.
· Support contact database management, including data ingestion, cleansing, maintenance, and enrichment.
· Maintain and update company websites, including content revisions, creation of new web pages, traditional Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and optimization for AI Search Overviews (Generative Engine Optimization / GEO).Support daily e-commerce operations within WooCommerce, including product catalog management, website merchandising activities, and using Zapier to automate data transfers between the store and backend business systems
· Conduct market, customer, and competitor research by leveraging web crawling and data collection tools to deliver actionable business intelligence and identify trends and opportunities.
· Support web crawling and data collection activities used for business intelligence and market analysis.
· Assist with conference and event lead management, including data ingestion, organization, and post-event analytics.
· Develop and maintain sales and marketing dashboards and prepare reports to measure campaign performance and key metrics.
· Create blog articles and digital assets, utilizing prompt engineering and AI writing tools to help draft, edit, and scale content.
· Assist with content management across digital platforms.
· Support the development and management of brand assets, promotional merchandise, and mascot-related design initiatives.
· Collaborate with marketing, sales, and business teams on special projects and strategic initiatives.
· Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Media, Data Analytics, or a related field.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Proficiency in Google Workspace applications.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or as part of a team.
· Analytical mindset with an interest in data-driven marketing.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Direct familiarity or hands-on experience with WooCommerce (or a strong interest in mastering it), including product catalog maintenance.
· Experience with, or a strong desire to learn, workflow automation tools like Zapier to sync e-commerce data (such as WooCommerce orders or leads) into backend business systems.
· Familiarity with LinkedIn marketing and social media platforms.
· Basic understanding of website content management systems (CMS / WordPress), traditional SEO principles, and curiosity regarding how AI search engines (like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity) surface information.
· Experience with dashboarding and reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or Google Analytics.
· Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other graphic design applications.
· Interest in e-commerce platforms and online merchandising.
· Knowledge of content marketing and blog management.
