The Preconstruction Coordinator supports the early phases of projects by helping organize, launch, and manage preconstruction activities. This role is the “hands and feet” of the preconstruction process—focused on getting projects off the ground, building structure around processes, and supporting day-to-day administrative and coordination needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Support preconstruction efforts from initial opportunity through project turnover to operations
- Assist with setting up new projects, including documentation, tracking tools, and internal coordination
- Help develop and maintain preconstruction processes, templates, and workflows
- Coordinate bid requests, proposals, and supporting documentation
- Track key milestones, deadlines, and deliverables throughout the preconstruction phase
- Assist estimating and preconstruction teams with administrative tasks and data organization
- Maintain organized records of drawings, specs, proposals, and communications
- Coordinate internal meetings and ensure follow-ups and action items are completed
- Support vendor and subcontractor outreach, bid leveling support, and documentation
- Help ensure a smooth handoff from preconstruction to project management and operations
- Identify gaps or inefficiencies and help build more structured, repeatable processes
- 2–5 years of experience in construction coordination, estimating support, or administrative/project support roles
- Exposure to preconstruction, estimating, or project setup processes preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Familiarity with construction drawings, specs, and documentation is a plus
- Required to stand, walk, and sit.
- Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
- Use hand (s) and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls.
- Reach with hand (s) and arm (s).
- Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds.
