Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Medical Technologist to join a healthcare facility in Hawaii. The ideal candidate must hold an active Hawaii license and be flexible to work weekends and rotating shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory testing and diagnostic procedures accurately and efficiently
- Analyze specimens and report test results in a timely manner
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Follow quality control and safety standards
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff regarding laboratory findings
- Maintain accurate patient and laboratory records
Requirements
- Active Hawaii Medical Technologist license required
- Previous Medical Laboratory experience preferred
- Ability to work weekends and rotating shifts
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Additional Information
- Holiday pay applies only if the shift begins on the holiday
- Example: A shift starting at 11:00 PM on July 4 and ending July 5 qualifies entirely for holiday pay
- A shift beginning before the holiday does not qualify for holiday pay even if it ends on the holiday
