Pay Rate: $55.31/Hourly on W2.
Shifts: Days
Note: Only Locals and Citizens (W2)
Guaranteed Hours: 40
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to support a critical phase of enterprise software development. This role requires a proactive professional with expertise in both manual and automated testing who can quickly integrate into Agile development teams and contribute to delivering high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with test automation, defect management, API testing, database validation, and cross-platform testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Build and maintain automated test scripts using BrowserStack Low-Code Automation and other automation frameworks.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using FreshService and Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and UX/UI teams to validate requirements and verify defect resolutions.
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing across web, iOS, and Android environments.
- Perform API testing using Postman and validate backend functionality.
- Execute database testing and SQL-based data validation within Azure SQL environments.
- Support CI/CD testing processes and deployment validation through Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Conduct performance and load testing using JMeter or similar tools.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and release activities.
- Provide quality sign-off and release readiness assessments for production deployments.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with manual, automated, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Hands-on expertise with:
- BrowserStack Low-Code Automation
- Selenium and Playwright
- ADA/Accessibility Testing
- FreshService and Azure DevOps
- Postman API Testing
- Azure SQL and SQL-based data validation
- Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines
- JMeter Performance Testing
- Python Scripting
- Ability to quickly onboard and contribute with minimal supervision.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in consulting, contract, or fast-paced product development environments.
- Familiarity with enterprise SaaS platforms and cloud-based applications.
- Experience testing across multiple devices, browsers, and operating systems.
