Post-Processing and Inspection Technician

We are looking for a Post-Processing and Inspection Technician I to join our Chattanooga Team. This position is for 1^st shift. As a uniquely qualified candidate, you will:
  

• Perform post-processing operations including, but not limited to, mandrel removal, flushing, pressure testing, baking, and associated product testing
• Inspect product per specifications using specified measuring equipment 
• Read, follow, and accurately complete all provided documentation (product drawings, work procedures, process logs, etc.)
• Have some computer proficiency with a willingness to learn computer systems required to perform job responsibilities
• Be able to prioritize effectively and manage multiple process responsibilities
• Demonstrate personal initiative and the ability to effectively execute tasks independently 
• Follow good manufacturing practices (GMP): line clearance, work instructions, documentation, etc.
• Work with and train other skilled technicians/operators in post-processing operations, inspection methods, and required documentation
• Communicate issues to engineering for collaborative continuous improvement
• Be willing to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and have ability to modify work shift as needed by business conditions   
• Perform other duties as required
    

Education, Experience and Requirements

• Associates degree with 2 years of work experience or equivalent combination of education and medical device/technical experience 
• Extremely hands on with some mechanical aptitude
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, professional attitude, team player
• Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted 
• Proof of 20/20 or better vision, unaided or corrected
