We are seeking a Regional HR Coordinator – Midwest to join our HR team and support a growing multi-subsidiary footprint. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the day-to-day execution of Human Resources while also wanting the opportunity to grow within a dynamic and expanding organization.
Position Summary:
The Regional HR Coordinator will support the Human Resources function across multiple Midwest operations by helping ensure that core HR processes are handled accurately, professionally, and with strong attention to detail. This role will partner closely with the HR Business Partner and provide support in areas such as onboarding, recruiting coordination, employee records, payroll support, leave tracking, compliance administration, reporting, and employee-facing HR support.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a point of contact for routine employee HR questions and provide timely, professional support
- Maintain employee records and ensure HRIS data is accurate and up to date
- Support onboarding activities including offer paperwork, background checks, new hire documentation, I-9 completion, orientation scheduling, and first-day readiness
- Assist with recruiting coordination, including job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and hiring process follow-up
- Support payroll-related processes through timekeeping review, documentation follow-up, and coordination of updates and corrections
- Track leave-related items including FMLA, ADA, personal leave, and return-to-work documentation
- Assist with workers' compensation documentation and claim tracking
- Prepare routine HR reports and maintain organized, audit-ready documentation
- Support compliance initiatives, training records, policy acknowledgments, and other HR administrative processes
- Provide administrative support related to employee relations documentation, corrective actions, and HR projects as directed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in an HR support, HR coordinator, or similar Human Resources role preferred
- Experience with HRIS systems, onboarding, recruiting coordination, and payroll support preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Manufacturing, industrial, multi-site, or operations-based experience is a plus
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or active pursuit of HR certification is a plus
