Job Summary
As Warehouse Lead, you will be responsible for performing tasks related to receiving, storing and distributing material within a warehouse setting. Such duties will require loading, unloading, picking, and participating in all aspects of the inventory process. A successful candidate should be dependable, prompt, reliable and engaged. Key relationships in this role will be with your team, subcontractors, purchasing, and production staff.
Primary Functions
- Stock materials, pick orders, perform accurate cycle counts, while maintaining a clean and organized working environment
- Understand and execute critical processes
- Execute and interpret reports
- Open Order Report
- Released Report
- Unreleased Report
- Partial Release Report
- Ensure jobs are accurately pulled
- Production schedule adherence
- Problem solving & research
- Lead and/or mentor Warehouse Associates I & II
- Follow established safety guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service to our internal and external customers to include, but not limited to:
- Production
- Subcontractors
- Vendors
- Purchasing
- Proactive communication to management regarding issues and concerns
Qualifications
- Ability to perform the physical demands of the position - working in indoor and outdoor elements with extreme variation in temperatures and weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow); climbing ladders and steep stairs, crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching, able to routinely lift heavy objects more than 50 pounds and pushing and pulling of objects
- Forklift Certification
- Ability and willingness to learn both systems and equipment used in a warehouse setting
- Competent to take direction with a positive attitude and complete quality of work on schedule
- Attention to detail
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Must have a TEAMWORK mentality
- 12-24 months warehouse experience

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
