Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations with precision and care.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to capture clear images for analysis.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Educate patients about procedures to ensure comfort and understanding.
- Keep detailed records of imaging results.
- Assist in the integration of ultrasound findings into patient care plans.
- Stay updated on the latest ultrasound techniques and technologies.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Ultrasound Technician or Sonographer.
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and ultrasound equipment.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills and patient care abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Certification or licensure as required by state regulations.
