Position Overview
The Treasury Manager is responsible for managing core Treasury activities, including cash management, liquidity planning, banking operations, and financial risk oversight. This role ensures a strong internal control environment while supporting efficient cash flow management and operational execution.
The position will partner closely with Finance and business teams to optimize working capital, manage financial risks, and support Treasury-related projects.
Key Responsibilities
Cash Management & Liquidity
- Manage daily cash positioning, forecasting, and liquidity planning.
- Oversee short-term cash forecasts and ensure adequate funding across entities.
- Support optimization of working capital and cash utilization.
- Monitor cash balances and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
Treasury Operations & Banking
- Oversee payment processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with controls.
- Manage relationships with banking partners and support account administration.
- Monitor bank fees and contribute to bank account rationalization initiatives.
- Support implementation and enhancement of Treasury Management Systems (TMS).
Internal Controls & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to Treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Maintain effective payment controls, approval workflows, and segregation of duties.
- Support audits and compliance reviews, ensuring proper documentation and issue resolution.
Risk Management
- Monitor liquidity, FX, and counterparty risks and support mitigation strategies.
- Assist in execution and tracking of hedging activities where applicable.
- Escalate risks and provide recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and review Treasury reports, including cash forecasts, liquidity reports, and KPIs.
- Analyze cash flow trends and provide insights to Finance leadership.
- Support ad hoc analysis and reporting needs.
Projects & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Contribute to Treasury-related initiatives, including system implementations and process improvements.
- Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Legal, and IT teams.
- Support initiatives related to working capital, payments, and financial processes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in Treasury, Finance, or Accounting.
- Strong understanding of cash management, banking operations, and financial controls.
- Experience with cash forecasting, liquidity management, and FX exposure is preferred.
- Familiarity with Treasury systems and banking platforms.
- Experience with fintech, payments, or digital assets is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage priorities independently and collaborate across teams.
- Effective communication skills with a practical, hands-on approach.
