What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traveling Nuclear Medicine Tech position at Confidential?
Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radioactive drugs, operate radiation detection and imaging equipment, perform patient imaging procedures, ensure radiation safety and quality control, and document procedures in the medical record.
Minimum Requirements
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology or equivalent education.
- State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine in the state of employment, if required.
- Current BLS certification.
- 2 years' experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.
- Current certification from a recognized credentialing body (for example, ARRT(N) or NMTCB). This is required prior to start.
- Experience with routine nuclear medicine imaging procedures and radiation safety protocols.
- Experience working in a hospital environment, including exposure to emergency department and inpatient imaging workflows.
- Ability to follow facility-specific onboarding and credentialing checklists. Client may require additional certifications prior to start.

- Shift hours: 0600-1800.
- Shift days: Days.
- Orientation: Biweekly on Wednesdays. Candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered for travel assignments.
