Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience.
• Experience with Meditech is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Willis-Knighton Health System.

Additional Details:
Required skills/experience: Wound management, JP drains, wound vacs, Hemodialysis Catheter care, Fistulas, PCA, pain management
Required credentials: Traveler will be required to PASS an EKG competency exam as part of compliance, prior to arrival
Shift & schedule requirements:
- 5/2 schedule (every Wednesday/Thursday).
- Weekend rotation: every other
- Will work 4 days one week and 3 days the next week – this is mandatory.
- Holiday Expectations: will work 2/3 holidays
Floating requirements: Any Med/Surg area within the hospital
Special request requirements: First time travelers must have 2 years of perm staff RN experience in acute care. Must extend 1 week for every full week requested off.
7 days maximum time off
