Job Description:
A well-established pet care facility in Baton Rouge, LA is hiring experienced Team Leads across three departments: Daycare, Boarding, and Grooming/Spa (Bathing). If you have hands-on experience and leadership skills in one of these areas, we want to hear from you. This is a hands-on role — you'll work alongside your team while also overseeing daily operations, training, and quality standards in your department.

Recess Lead — Oversee daily group play/daycare operations. Monitor dog behavior, safety, and group dynamics; lead and train recess staff.
Suites/Boarding Lead — Oversee boarding and overnight care operations. Ensure dogs are safe, comfortable, and well cared for; lead and train boarding staff.
Spa/Bathing Lead — Oversee bathing operations. Ensure quality and consistency of services; lead and train bathers.
Responsibilities (by department, plus shared duties):
- Work hands-on in your department's daily operations
- Train, support, and provide day-to-day direction to staff in your area
- Monitor safety, cleanliness, and quality standards
- Communicate with front desk/ownership on scheduling, incidents, and client needs
- Help onboard and train new hires
- Maintain accurate records in booking software (Gingr experience a plus)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in dog daycare, boarding, or grooming/bathing required (please specify your area of experience)
- Prior lead, supervisor, or shift-lead experience preferred
- Comfortable being hands-on with dogs of all sizes and temperaments for extended periods
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Reliable, full-time availability including some weekends
Compensation: Based on experience, following successful completion of orientation period
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
