Shipping & Receiving Team Member
We are looking for a full time (first shift) Shipping and Receiving person to join our team.
We are a growing company with opportunity for career advancement and development. The Shipping and Receiving team preform a wide range of operational tasks and procedures on a daily basis. This position is responsible for numerous inventory and production related duties that include but are not limited to: loading and unloading trucks, performing basic inventory counts, stacking and organizing materials on the yard and assisting in the creation of production schedules.
Essential Job Functions
- Loading and unloading all materials, including large structural steel, in a safe, organized efficient manner
- Tracking all materials that are on site, both company stock and customer materials
- Keeping the yard and materials near and organized
- Assisting with month end inventory as needed
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent minimum
- 2 years forklift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting – experience with large forklifts and loading/unloading large steel structures preferred.
