We are a small but rapidly growing firm in the business consulting industry, looking to expand our market presence in Terre Haute and currently seeking motivated go-getters to join our team as Sales Trainees. You’ll receive comprehensive training in all aspects of customer account management, including consultative customer service techniques, top-to-bottom sales processes, and customer engagement best practices—setting you up for long-term success.
As a Sales Trainee, you will assist in executing company outreach strategies by making direct contact with customers, offering service recommendations, assisting with account setup, and following through with customers. You’ll be immersed in a fast-paced, customer focused business environment as you learn skills in negotiation, business management, and consultative sales.
Essential Functions of the Sales Trainee Role
- Support senior sales reps by assisting with customer outreach efforts and following up on qualified leads to promote client services directly across assigned territories.
- Present and promote client products in a thorough and favorable manner, clearly communicating service features, pricing, and current promotions.
- Assist in preparing service quotes, proposals, and tailored plan recommendations under the guidance of senior team members.
- Track customer activity, manage lead flow, and update CRM systems to maintain accurate records and support campaign reporting.
- Handle basic service inquiries and troubleshooting tasks under supervision, escalating complex issues to senior staff or technical support when needed.
- Participate in scheduled training sessions, product briefings, and role-play exercises to strengthen sales techniques and deepen understanding of business operations.

Education & Experience Needed for the Sales Trainee Role

- No prior sales experience required; internships, part-time roles, or volunteer experience in customer support or outreach are considered valuable.
- Basic familiarity with CRM platforms or business software is a plus; candidates must demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to learn new systems.
Sales Trainee Position Overview:
- Employment Type: This is a full-time employee position.
- Pay: An average of $120-$160 per new customer enrolled; on average, each associate will complete a minimum of 2-3 new customer enrollments per day.
- Hours: This is a full-time position (40 hours guaranteed/week).
- Location: This position will be based out of our office and an assigned territory to cover
- Clients & Products: We work with Frontier customers, promoting and signing up new customers for their services (including their Internet Services and premier Wireless Products)
