Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday
Pay: $75,000 - $80,000 annually
Summary:
The Safety Program Manager will be responsible for the management and oversight of a comprehensive safety program that ensures compliance with all applicable regulations and promotes a safe and healthy work environment. This role requires a proactive approach to safety, strong leadership skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain a comprehensive safety program across all departments
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, including OSHA
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, identifying hazards and recommending corrective actions
- Deliver safety training programs for current employees and new hires
- Investigate accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing preventative measures
- Maintain accurate safety records and documentation
- Promote a positive safety culture through communication, training, and engagement
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate safety into all aspects of operations
- Stay up to date on the latest safety regulations and best practices
- Manage the safety budget and resources
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
