Responsibilities
- Drive outside sales efforts by actively prospecting and generating leads through cold calling, networking, and territory management strategies
- Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations and technical sales presentations to educate clients about roofing options and solutions
- Manage existing accounts while identifying new business opportunities within assigned territories to maximize growth
- Develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and attract potential customers
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement
- Negotiate contracts and close sales by understanding client needs, offering tailored solutions, and upselling additional services or products
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or retail sales with a focus on technical or product-based solutions
- Strong management skills with the ability to oversee territory management and lead generation activities effectively
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for managing customer data and sales pipelines
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with a customer service-oriented mindset
- Demonstrated ability in business development, account management, and territory expansion strategies
