Position Summary
The Restoration and Waterproofing Project Manager oversees building envelope repair, structural restoration, and water intrusion prevention projects to ensure completion on time, within budget, and in accordance with the highest quality and safety standards. This role coordinates internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, architects, and clients to maintain smooth execution and high levels of client satisfaction.
The Project Manager is responsible for budgeting, scheduling, documentation, compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and continuous quality improvement. This position also has supervisory responsibility for junior project managers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional duties may be assigned as required.
Project Planning & Execution
- Develop comprehensive project plans and detailed timelines.
- Oversee all phases of projects, from initial design through final inspection.
- Manage project scope to align with client needs and company objectives.
- Implement revised plans in response to delays, weather conditions, or emergencies.
- Coordinate with field supervisors, company management, contractors, and suppliers.
- Serve as liaison between project engineers, architects, team members, and stakeholders.
- Manage and plan multiple projects simultaneously, aligning them with research, development, and implementation strategies.
Budget & Cost Control
- Develop and manage project budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
- Monitor expenses and proactively identify potential cost overruns.
- Manage change orders, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.
- Develop and implement quality control programs.
- Promote and enforce a safe work environment for all personnel.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental requirements.
- Investigate site damage, accidents, or delays to ensure proper procedures are followed.
Documentation & Administration
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, specifications, reports, and records.
- Process submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Assist in the proposal process for new contracts.
- Provide regular updates to the EVP.
- Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures.
- Stay current with evolving technology, software, and industry-specific programs.
Leadership
- Supervise and mentor junior project managers.
- Resolve conflicts and address issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure performance and accountability.
- Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Travel
- Travel may be required, including occasional out-of-state travel to various job sites.
Qualifications
To perform this position successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below represent the minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or
- Three to five years of related experience and/or training; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to effectively communicate via Slack, Aspire, Microsoft Teams, and provide regular updates to executive leadership.
- Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to solve practical problems involving multiple variables in situations with limited standardization.
- Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
- Intermediate proficiency with:

Certificates, Licenses & Registrations
- OSHA 10 certification (required)
