Seeking an experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager to oversee compliance across a diverse portfolio of dietary supplements, food products, and cosmetics in both U.S. and international markets. This role operates with a high level of independence and will serve as a key partner across multiple functions, ensuring products meet all regulatory requirements from development through commercialization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage regulatory activities to ensure ongoing product compliance across all applicable markets
- Develop, review, and maintain product labeling, including Supplement Facts panels and required disclosures
- Evaluate packaging and marketing materials for regulatory accuracy and compliance
- Partner cross-functionally to support product development, claims strategy, and market readiness
- Manage and maintain third-party certifications (e.g., vegan, gluten-free, cruelty-free, and others)
- Review raw material and ingredient documentation to determine regulatory classification and appropriate usage
- Support product registrations and notifications in the U.S. and international markets
- Monitor and interpret evolving regulatory requirements, providing proactive guidance to internal teams
- Assess scientific literature to substantiate product claims and ensure compliance with applicable standards
- Contribute to regulatory strategy and recommend solutions to support business objectives while minimizing risk
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as nutrition, chemistry, biology, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory affairs within dietary supplements, food, cosmetics, or related industries
- Strong knowledge of U.S. regulatory frameworks (e.g., FDA, FTC) with exposure to international regulations preferred
- Experience with labeling, ingredient compliance, and product registrations
- Ability to interpret scientific data and apply it to regulatory decision-making
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels of the organization
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools
