Regional Sales Director – Heavy Duty Truck Aftermarket

Company Overview
We are a growing heavy-duty aftermarket parts company focused on brake, friction, and related HD truck components across North America. We have warehouse DC and light fabrication facility in Dallas, TX. We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager with strong distributor and fleet relationships to help expand our aftermarket footprint. Currently, we are offering heavy duty truck brakes parts, including brake shoes, linings, brake hardware kits, brake chambers, cam shafts, air-dryers, valves, hoses, etc.
Core Responsibilities
- Drive regional aftermarket sales growth across assigned territories.
- Develop and manage local distributor, fleet, and independent repair shop relationships.
- Expand product lines by suggesting new part numbers and categories.
- Maintain pricing discipline and margin protection.
- Gather market intelligence, competitive information, and product feedback.
- Help to build up and lead local sales team.
Preferred Background
Candidates with experience from companies such as Automann, FleetPride, TruckPro, or VIPAR distributor networks are highly preferred. Ideal candidates should have:
- 5–10 years of heavy-duty aftermarket sales experience (Prefer experience with Automann, Truckpro, or other heavy duty truck parts supplier, distributor, or dealership)
- Strong distributor and fleet relationships
- Experience managing territories and growing accounts
- Knowledge of HD brake, air system, chassis, suspension, and related product categories
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a player-coach style leader who is still actively selling (phase 1) while also capable of managing and developing a regional sales team (phase 2).
Not ideal: - Pure corporate managers with limited field experience
- Candidates without aftermarket experience - OEM-only backgrounds without aftermarket sales exposure
Compensation Structure
Base Salary: $85,000 – $100,000
On-Target Earnings (OTE): $170,000 – $220,000
