Commercial Flooring Project Manager / Estimator
We are a leading commercial flooring specialist serving the Texas market. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Commercial Flooring Project Manager / Estimator with 3–6 years of commercial flooring and multifamily construction experience, specifically within Tile, Stone, Carpet, and Resilient flooring scopes of work.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in estimating, project management, construction plans and specifications, and coordinating commercial flooring projects from bid through completion.
Responsibilities
- Estimate commercial and multifamily flooring projects and prepare accurate, competitive bids
- Perform quantity takeoffs and review project scopes, plans, specifications, and schedules
- Manage projects from contract award through successful completion
- Review project costs, budgets, schedules, and overall progress
- Coordinate with general contractors, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, installers, and customers
- Coordinate material selections, procurement, deliveries, and project schedules
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, materials, and installation progress
- Review and manage change orders, project updates, and potential cost impacts
- Identify and resolve project issues before they affect schedule, budget, or quality
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Maintain clear and professional communication with customers and project teams
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Qualifications
- 3–6 years of commercial flooring and multifamily experience
- Experience with Tile, Stone, Carpet, and Resilient flooring scopes
- Strong commercial flooring estimating and project management experience
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
- Knowledge of commercial flooring products, installation methods, and construction processes
- Strong understanding of project costs, budgets, schedules, and construction timelines
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with estimating and project management software is a plus
- Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team
