Job Title: Manufacturing Scheduler

Pay Rate: $70,000- $90,000 (Annually)
Schedule: 6am – 4:30pm M-F
Summary
The Manufacturing Scheduler develops and maintains production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing plant capacity. This position monitors production progress, adjusts schedules based on changing priorities, and works closely with multiple departments to ensure efficient manufacturing operations.
Essential Functions
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
- Schedule manufacturing work orders based on customer demand, material availability, labor, and machine capacity.
- Monitor production performance and adjust schedules to address delays, equipment downtime, or material shortages.
- Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure raw materials are available when needed.
- Work closely with Production Supervisors to balance workloads and maximize efficiency.
- Communicate schedule changes and production priorities to all affected departments.
- Track production metrics, schedule adherence, and on-time delivery performance.
- Identify production bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate production data within the ERP/MRP system.
- Participate in daily production meetings and provide schedule updates.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that reduce lead times and improve productivity.
- Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and operational standards.
Education, and Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of scheduling, production planning, or manufacturing experience.
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Dynamic GP preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Skills
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Experience with capacity planning and demand forecasting.
- Understanding of Bills of Material (BOMs), routings, and inventory management.
