Role Summary:
We are seeking a visionary and pragmatic Product Architect to lead the technical evolution of our product suite. In this role, you will be the primary designer of our product's structural integrity, ensuring that our software is scalable, secure, and perfectly aligned with our commercial goals. You will work at the intersection of Product Management and Engineering, translating complex business requirements into elegant technical blueprints. Your mission is to ensure that while we build for today, we are architecting for a decade of growth.
Role Expectations:
- Architectural Blueprinting: Define the end-to-end technical architecture for new products and major feature sets.
- Technical Roadmap: Partner with Executives and Leaders to align the technical roadmap with the business strategy, identifying potential "tech debt" before it happens.
- Standard Setting: Establish and enforce coding standards, architectural patterns, and best practices across the product function.
- Prototyping: Build Proofs of Concept (PoCs) for complex integrations or experimental technologies to validate feasibility.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Mentor technical and lead "Architectural Review Boards" to ensure all teams are moving in a unified technical direction.
- Scalability & Security: Own the non-functional requirements, ensuring the system can handle 10x current load and meets all global security compliance standards.
Pay Type:
Salaried, paid twice monthly on the 15th and the last day of the month.
Required Experience:
- 5 years in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a Lead or Architect role.
- Experience in SaaS, FinTech, or Education is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with technical languages like Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Java, or Python.
- Proficiency with CRMs, preferably clear.io, Google Suite, and 3rd party app hosting platforms.
Education/Certification:
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field..
Required Skills/Abilities:Technical Depth
- System Design: Deep expertise in microservices, API-first design, and cloud-native infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Data Modeling: Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL environments, understanding when to prioritize consistency vs. availability.
- Security by Design: Strong grasp of identity management, encryption, and secure lifecycle development.
Soft Skills
- Strategic Thinking: The ability to see the "forest for the trees"—understanding how a single API change impacts the long-term business model.
- Decisiveness: Capable of making tough "Build vs. Buy" decisions and sticking to them.
- Communication: The rare ability to explain a complex distributed system to a CEO and a Junior Developer in the same hour.
