Position Overview:
As Pricing Manager at you'll work closely with sales, finance, and operations, and your decisions will be felt across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and conduct analyses and prepare pricing proposals for potential customers
- Evaluate the financial impact of proposed pricing and operational changes across customers, warehouses, and product lines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, account management, customer support, finance, and product management, to optimize pricing decisions
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape. Monitor changes in market conditions that may impact pricing decisions and provide actionable insights to the leadership team
- Understanding of impacts made by operational changes and translating them into updates in billing structures
- Build, enhance, and streamline pricing tools and models to improve accuracy and speed
- Lead and improve periodic processes related to price updates
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, statistics or a related field
- 2 years of experience in an analytical role
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools to accelerate analysis and build better processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to influence cross-functional partners
- Understanding of financial statements
- Demonstrated ability to persevere, overcome obstacles, and execute time-sensitive initiatives effectively, responsibly and if needed independently
