Your Mission
As the Plant Manager, you will be the heartbeat of the facility. You will oversee the end-to-end manufacturing process, ensuring that production hits targets safely, efficiently, and profitably.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Lead and develop a cross-functional team (Production, Drivers, and Office) to achieve daily output goals.
- Safety & Compliance: Champion a "Safety First" culture, ensuring 100% compliance with OSHA, EPA, and internal safety standards.
- Inventory & Logistics: Strategically manage inventory levels to meet customer demand while optimizing production schedules for efficiency.
- Technical Oversight: Leverage your mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot equipment issues and oversee preventative maintenance alongside your team.
- Talent Leadership: Own the lifecycle of your crew—from interviewing and hiring to training and performance rewards.
- P&L Management: Manage the plant’s budget and production data to maximize profitability and minimize waste.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a leader who is as comfortable with a spreadsheet as they are helping on a production line.
- Experience: 5 years of progressive leadership in Plant or Production Management, preference for the building products or industrial manufacturing sectors.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; however, a strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and a proven track record of success are essential.
- Leadership Style: A "Lead by Example" mentality. You aren't afraid to get your hands dirty to help the team win.
- Technical Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving abilities and a deep understanding of P&L responsibility.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills. The ability to speak Spanish is a significant plus.
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
