Physician Assistant (PA-C) Foot and Ankle | uTOEpia Foot and Ankle, Memphis, TN 38117
uTOEpia Foot and Ankle is seeking a motivated, compassionate, and highly driven Physician Assistant to join our growing and innovative foot and ankle practice. We are a fast-paced, modern podiatric and wound care practice focused on delivering exceptional patient outcomes while creating an outstanding patient experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Physician Assistant who enjoys autonomy, procedural medicine, wound care, diabetic limb salvage, surgery-related care, and being part of a collaborative healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with foot and ankle conditions
- Assist in the treatment of diabetic wounds, ulcers, infections, and limb salvage cases
- Perform office-based procedures and treatments
- Manage post-operative follow-up care
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic testing
- Coordinate care with hospitals, home health, infectious disease, vascular, and primary care providers
- Accurately document encounters within the EMR
- Educate patients regarding treatment plans and prevention
Qualifications
- Physician Assistant license active in Tennessee
- Experience in wound care, orthopedics, podiatry, vascular, or surgical specialties preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- EMR experience preferred (ModMed used in the office)
