What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive dental care for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs.
- Perform preventive, restorative, and emergency dental procedures.
- Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and preventive care.
- Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
- Create a fun, welcoming, and anxiety-free experience for pediatric patients.
- Collaborate with management, dental assistants, and office staff to ensure exceptional patient care.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
- Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
- Certificate of completion from an accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency program.
- Current state dental license (or eligibility for licensure).
- DEA license (or ability to obtain).
- Nitrous Oxide Permit
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with children and families.
- Commitment to providing ethical, high-quality patient care.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with behavior management techniques.
- Experience treating patients with special healthcare needs.
- IV sedation or hospital privileges are a plus (if applicable).
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a HUGE PLUS.
