About Us:
We are a busy and growing construction company looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Office Assistant to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will have previous office experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general office duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and handling correspondence
- Maintain and organize project files, invoices, and contracts
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and job site visits
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other administrative documents
- Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and clients as needed
- Process invoices, track expenses, and assist with basic bookkeeping tasks
- Ensure office supplies are stocked and ordered as needed
- Support the construction team with administrative tasks to keep projects running smoothly
Requirements:
- Previous office experience is required (construction industry experience is a plus!)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with construction documents and terminology is a plus
