Who is Nurse In The Making?
Nurse In The Making makes study guides, flashcards, and free educational content that have helped 400,000 nursing students get through nursing school and pass the NCLEX. Founder Kristine Tuttle, BSN, RN started the company out of her own accelerated BSN program, and everything we build still comes from that place: take a hard topic and make it make sense.
What’s the job?
You're the nurse building our social content. You'll assist in writing what goes out on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and email. You're also the last line of defense on clinical accuracy for everything we publish.

What will you do?
Write & Create:
- Short-form video scripts (TikTok, Reels)
- Educational/nursing student social media posts (Instagram)
- Marketing emails
- Long-form YouTube scripts
- Blog posts on website
Review each piece of content that has been created. You will be reviewing for clinical accuracy, clarity, and whether it is “on brand”.
Simulation Lab Shoots
- Create short-form educational video scripts
- Source and assemble the supply bags for each script
- Assist in plan the shoot day sequence of videos, room assignments, timing
- Coordinate with the sim lab staff on logistics and paperwork
- Some travel involved
Nice to have: On camera
We film short videos regularly and would love someone who's comfortable being in them. This includes demonstrating skills, explaining concepts. It's a genuine plus in hiring and there's real room to grow into it. It is not a requirement, and you will not be pushed into it if it's not your thing.
Who We're Looking For
- RN with a BSN. Active license required.
- You have a team player and growth mindset. You communicate in a way that reflects the Nurse In The Making brand, uplifting, encouraging, and supportive. You are always looking to grow and see how we can do things better.
- You work quickly and accurately. We build a lot of content. If continued creation worries you, this might not be the right fit.
- You use TikTok and Instagram yourself. In your application, name two or three nursing accounts you think do educational content well, and say why.
- Detail obsessed. Our content is what students study from. Errors matter more here than in most content jobs.
- Comfortable being the expert in the room. You'll be the person who says "that's not right, here's the correction" including work that's already been produced and edited.
- You care about nursing students. It shows in the content you are creating, every time.

- Reports to: Lead Nurse Content Creator
- Location: In person, Long Island, NY
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
