Responsibilities - Kitchen Manager
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high-quality standards are met consistently.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff on food safety protocols, proper food handling, and efficient cooking techniques to uphold hygiene standards.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
- Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring smooth workflow during busy hours.
- Enforce food safety regulations and maintain compliance with health department standards through regular inspections.
- Lead team training initiatives to develop culinary skills, improve customer service, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Conduct profit and loss analysis to optimize operational efficiency while controlling costs related to food production and labor.
- Support catering events, banquet services, or special functions as needed to enhance guest experiences.
- Engage in managerial communication with staff to promote clear expectations, feedback, and continuous improvement.
Experience - Kitchen Manager
- Proven experience managing kitchens in quick service or fast food restaurants with a strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience supervising hospitality teams or managing restaurant operations effectively.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly preferred.
- Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and food safety management is essential for success in this role.
