Medical Records (LPN/RN)
A nursing home located in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Records to join its team!

Team member must value patient confidentiality and security of medical records. Applicant must have ability to manage inpatient and discharged patients' medical records.
Requirements:
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Louisiana
- 1 year experience in medical records department
- Previous experience with an electronic medical records system in a hospital setting
Job Duties:
- Maintain medical record system in compliance with federal, state and local requirements
- Assist with audit duties and data entry
- Assure that all medical records are protected and kept confidential
- Identify late, incomplete and inaccurate documentation and report to responsible individual for completion/correction
- Assemble/process admission packets and discharge records timely and accurately
