Great Lakes Pathologists, West Allis WI, is seeking an organized, proactive Practice Manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of our medical practice. This role is the operational hub of the group — managing physician scheduling, business analytics, billing support and patient relations. The ideal candidate thrives on process, communicates clearly with physicians and external partners, and handles confidential matters with discretion. This position is on-site at Aurora West Allis Medical Center.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer staff schedules using Qgenda scheduling software
- Coordinate group operations with physician leadership and with external business vendors (HR, billing, accounting, legal, insurance)
- Serve as first point of contact for employee questions on benefits, HR policies, expense reimbursements, etc.
- Be the point person for patient and billing inquiries/denials using appropriate internal and external resources to investigate and resolve
- Utilize data analytics to improve GLP business efficiencies and physician workloads
- Coordinate GLP executive meetings with agenda, supporting documents and recording meeting minutes.
Required Qualificiations
- 3 years of experience in a medical practice, healthcare operations, or administrative management role
- Laboratory and/or Pathology experience strongly preferred
- Epic EMR (including Beaker lab) skills are preferred (working knowledge of SlicerDicer is an asset)
- Demonstrated ability to manage physician scheduling (Qgenda or other scheduling software experience preferred)
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with advanced level of proficiency in Excel
- High degree of discretion when handling confidential business, financial, HR and patient information

Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
