Maintenance Technician
***PAY BASED OFF OF EXPERIENCE***
JOB GOALS:
Provide company with adequate knowledge and skills to safely conduct routine service and repairs of plant machinery. The technician should also be able to provide direct support to the facility by ensuring runtime outweighs downtime. Technician will have a broad knowledge of facility and operational processes, which will allow them to accurately provide services to ensure facility (non-machinery) is maintained.
Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities Include:
- Properly read and understand schematics and blueprints
- Follow Preventive Maintenance Plan set forth by the company
- Lift and carry (short distances) up to 100# frequently
- Maintain a clean work area
- Ensure all safe work practices and operating processes are being followed
- Properly perform repairs of machinery
- Ensure machines are functioning according the standards set forth by the company
- Accurately document Service Reports to ensure historical data for Department
- Follow proper maintenance intervals as set forth from OEM or developed by the company
- Accurately use finite measuring devices or tools to conduct routine service
- Frequent stooping, bending, laying in order to perform repairs/service
- Other duties as assigned by Plant Managers
Maintenance Technician Qualifications Include:
- Ability to follow instructions
- Strong Verbal Communication Skills
- Adequate Time Management
- Organized
- Multi-tasking
- Responsible, Reliable, punctual, stable, and personable
- Motivated
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Safely and properly provide rigging knowledge in order to lift heavy objects
- Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, percentages)
- Ability to work independently as well in a team environment
- Adequate welding skills
- Basic knowledge of working within an established PM Program
- Proper use of hand tools
- Display proper lubrication technique
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude
