Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of HVAC systems, electrical maintenance, and industrial maintenance practices. This role is essential in ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely while managing a team of skilled maintenance technicians.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Oversee HVAC systems maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to regulations.
- Manage electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage components, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Utilize project management skills to plan and execute maintenance projects effectively.
- Maintain accurate records using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory, and equipment history.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance with a strong background in HVAC systems.
- Proficiency in electrical systems, including both low voltage and high voltage applications.
- Familiarity with using tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for various mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective team collaboration.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role is preferred but not mandatory.
