Growing natural ingredient company looking to expand its logistics team with an organized, self-motivated Logistics Coordinator. B2B in the natural bulk ingredient: food / cosmetic markets. This full-time position will work from both our Bridgewater, MA location as well as our Braintree, MA location based on the scheduling needs of the department.
Position Duties:
- Schedule palletized and parcel shipments via TMS, email, phone and carrier portal, and prepare accurate documentations and labels to include with shipments
- Calculate shipping weight dimensions, and request and provide quotes to sales reps through TMS and Parcel shipping portals
- Track shipments via TMS, carrier portal and/or email or phone
- Process claims for damaged and lost shipments on carrier’s portal and/or email
- Process returns shipment requests
- Process import/inbound shipments from vendors to multiple warehouses
- Review submitted orders for accurate shipping details
- Communicate shipping details to sales/customer service before leaving building
- Provide shipment status updates to customers
- Check-in drivers picking up outbound shipments, and allowing them access to warehouse
- Communicate with 3rd party shipping agents to schedule outbound orders ready to ship
- Filing shipping documents
- Request international palletized ocean and air, volume LTL and TL shipping quotes from network of carriers via email and TMS portal
- Review, approve, report and file shipping invoices and submit to accounting for payment
- All other duties as assigned
