Position Summary
Reporting to senior operations leadership, the Plant Manager is responsible for leading manufacturing operations, driving operational excellence, optimizing costs, developing employees, and improving overall plant performance. This strategic leadership role requires a strong background in manufacturing, continuous improvement, and people management. The successful candidate will foster a culture of accountability, safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
The Plant Manager collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, quality, maintenance, finance, and human resources, to support operational efficiency and business success.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are met.
- Monitor plant performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure efficient use of resources and equipment.
Cost Management
- Identify and implement opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality and productivity.
- Manage operational expenditures and contribute to budget planning.
- Support initiatives that improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Team Leadership and Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
- Foster employee engagement, accountability, and collaboration.
- Support workforce planning, training, and succession planning initiatives.
Performance Management
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze performance data and implement strategies to improve results.
- Drive accountability and operational excellence throughout the facility.
Continuous Improvement
- Promote lean manufacturing principles and process improvement initiatives.
- Champion innovation and the adoption of new technologies and best practices.

Safety and Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of manufacturing experience.
- At least 5 years of leadership or plant management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related discipline preferred.
- Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
