Job Summary
We are seeking a Paralegal to provide dedicated support to a team of Litigation and Labor & Employment attorneys in a dynamic legal environment within the Western U.S. region. This role is critical to the success of the legal team, offering hands-on involvement in litigation matters, case management, and trial preparation. Key responsibilities include document preparation, electronic filing, and legal research. This is a full-time hybrid position offering opportunities to grow within a supportive legal team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide case support through document management, preparation of exhibits, and coordination of deposition and hearing materials
- Draft motions, discovery responses, client correspondence, and form documents such as ADR Stipulations and Rule 26(f) reports
- Conduct legal and factual research to assist with investigations and discovery
- Manage electronic court filings, especially for California-based filings, serving as a subject matter resource
- Track and record billable time promptly and accurately for self and assigned attorneys
- Gather, organize, and review case materials, including records and chronologies
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate required
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, or government legal office
- Prior experience supporting litigation and/or labor & employment matters preferred
Special Requirements
- paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program is preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficiency in electronic court filing systems, particularly for California jurisdictions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and legal research platforms (e.g., LexisNexis or Westlaw)

- Experience preparing chronologies and reviewing medical or business records

Work Environment

Salary : $70,000 - $100,000
