Lead Registered Nurse Cosmetic Injector

Job Overview

Atlanta Cosmetic Urology (ACU) is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) – Cosmetic Injector & Lead to join our team. This is a hands-on clinical role that combines patient care, injectable treatments, in-office procedural support, and leadership of our back-office Medical Assistant team.

The ideal candidate is confident working independently, comfortable in a fast-paced specialty practice, and able to balance direct patient care with clinical leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership, guidance, and support to the Medical Assistant team.
• Assist with training, clinical workflows, and maintaining back-office standards.
• Perform injectable treatments and therapies within RN scope of practice and under provider direction.
• Assess and prepare patients for injectable treatments, provide education, and monitor for appropriate response or adverse reactions.
• Start IVs and administer injections, medications, and treatments as ordered.
• Assist providers with in-office procedures, including patient preparation, monitoring, and recovery.
• Perform routine clinical/Medical Assistant duties as needed, including rooming patients, obtaining vitals, medication reconciliation, and assisting with patient flow.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in eClinicalWorks (eCW).
• Oversee inventory and ordering of clinical supplies, medications, injectables, and products needed for patient care and in-office procedures.
• Ensure exam and procedure rooms are properly stocked, organized, and maintained.
• Support infection control, medication safety, patient safety, and clinical compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of Georgia.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Previous experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW)
• Outpatient, procedural, urology, men's health, or specialty practice experience preferred.
• IV-start and injection experience strongly preferred.
• Previous leadership or team-lead experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with providers and clinical staff.
• Professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and patient-focused.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on clinical leader who is comfortable providing direct patient care while taking ownership of the back-office team's daily workflow. This individual should be confident assisting with procedures, administering medications and injections, starting IVs, managing clinical inventory, and supporting the Medical Assistant team.

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
