IT Infrastructure Manager
You will lead our IT operations, ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our datacenter, cloud infrastructure, and automation tools for a leading marketing services provider that has been recognized as a top place to work (philly.com), one of the fastest-growing private companies in America (Inc. 5000), and accredited with an A rating by the Better Business Bureau. Reporting onsite to the ReminderMedia Global Headquarters in King of Prussia, PA—you’ll join a small but highly technical team that leads the development of our network systems supporting tens of thousands of clients and hundreds of workers across the globe.
IT Infrastructure Leadership
- Oversee enterprise IT infrastructure: Palo Alto firewalls, Nimble SAN storage, Rubrik backup, Cisco switching, VMWare virtualization.
- Develop and own a 3-year infrastructure roadmap for on‑prem and GCP/Azure environments—with hands‑on execution of daily operations and vendor management.
- Engage with vendors to run RFPs, negotiate contracts, enforce SLAs, and ensure service quality.
Systems & Network Operations
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize networking, storage, virtualization, backup, and compute infrastructure.
- Ensure high availability and performance of on-premise and cloud platforms.
- Implement and enforce security best practices, patch management, and disaster recovery plans.
Automation & DevOps Collaboration
- Partner with DevOps team to advance automation efforts (Terraform, Ansible) and infrastructure-as-a-code practices.
- Identify and automate manual processes to boost efficiency.
- Support and improve infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices.
- Implement, support and optimize services running in GCP and Azure.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting
- Lead Zabbix monitoring efforts - tune alerts and drive proactive resolution.
- Respond to critical incidents with hands-on troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve system reliability and reduce downtime.
Team Leadership & Communication
- Mentor IT colleagues, fostering growth, knowledge‑sharing, and strong operational practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to align IT initiatives with company objectives.
- Provide clear, data-driven updates to leadership on system health, risks, and strategic improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 10 years in enterprise IT infrastructure technical leadership roles, including networking, virtualization, storage, security
- Education: Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Core Technical Skills:
- Networking: Cisco routers/switches, Palo Alto firewalls
- Virtualization: VMware vSphere/vCenter
- Storage & Backup: Nimble (iSCSI) SAN, Rubrik
- Cloud: GCP and Azure
- Disaster Recovery & Security: DR planning, patch management, vulnerability remediation
- Scripting & Automation: PowerShell, Bash/Linux, Ansible, Terraform
- Monitoring: Zabbix and incident‑response best practices
- Leadership & Collaboration: Proven ability to drive cross‑team projects, manage vendor relationships, and deliver 99.9% uptime.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, project management, and clear verbal/written communication.
Plus:
- Technical Certifications such as Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), Palo Alto Networks (PCNSE), Microsoft (MCSA/Azure), Linux (RHCSA),and ITIL
- Hands‑on experience implementing and supporting CI/CD or DevOps pipelines.
