The IT Network Manager is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing enterprise network operations, leading and developing a high-performing IT team, and designing scalable, secure infrastructure. This position plays a critical role in ensuring network reliability, supporting business continuity, and enabling organizational growth through modern, high-performing network solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of network/IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and accountable work environment
• Oversee daily network operations including configuration, deployment, and maintenance of routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure
• Design, implement, and continuously improve enterprise network architecture across LAN/WAN and cloud environments
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and lead escalation efforts to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance
• Manage and deliver network and IT infrastructure projects, including planning, budgeting, and cross-functional coordination
• Develop and enforce network security policies, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and access controls
• Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to define requirements, manage SLAs, and ensure successful solution delivery
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for network architecture, configurations, and disaster recovery plans
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in networking or IT infrastructure roles
• At least 3 years of experience leading or managing technical teams
• Strong background in enterprise networking environments, including LAN/WAN and wireless systems
Special Requirements:
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Network , or equivalent are strongly preferred
• Experience with cloud networking technologies (AWS or Azure) is highly desirable
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Deep technical expertise in routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and wireless networking
• Strong understanding of network security principles including VPNs, IDS/IPS, and secure architecture design
• Proficiency with enterprise-grade networking hardware and cloud networking concepts
• Experience with network monitoring, automation, and performance management tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in high-pressure situations
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with ITIL practices including change, incident, and problem management
• Proven leadership abilities including coaching, delegation, and performance management
